Welcome to Alloy
Crane's New Website
Alloy Industrial
Contractors, Inc. is
a family owned
industrial
contracting business
that was established
in 1953 by the late
Frank MacMillan. It
began as a small
welding and repair
shop under the name
Alloy Welding
Service. At that
time it was a
one-man operation.
In the late 50’s and
60’s Alloy began to
grow in size and
branched out from
commercial and
residential welding
to industrial work.
Alloy Industrial
Crane Division was
born out of pure
necessity. Our
contracting business
required that we
have the equipment
needed to serve our
customers. It was
difficult to find
companies that would
inspect and repair
all of our cranes
and hoists. We
wanted to be sure
that our equipment
was safe for our
employees and our
customers to use. In
March of 1996, we
sent our first crane
technician to school
at the Crane
Institute of
America. We began to
service and inspect
our own cranes and
hoists. The word got
out that Alloy had a
good technician to
work on cranes. In
the spring of 2002,
Alloy Industrial
Crane Division had 6
service trucks, 15
certified crane
techs, and 6000 sq.
ft. of shop space to
service, inspect,
build, and modify
any type of lifting
equipment. In our
search for quality
inspections, we
found the Crane
division motto:
"Safety first!
Quality Always!"

We gladly accept
Visa, MasterCard and
American Express.
